"Summer Holiday" |
Netscape Users-
If you're using Netscape (4+) you should be able to preview the .wavs
simply by clicking on the title link. A little Netscape .wav player will
open and run it for you. If you want to save the file, right-click on the
.wav player after it's finished and choose the "save as" function. You
can then close the .wav player.
I.E. Users-
If you're using I.E. (5+) when you click on the title link it will
automatically begin downloading the .wav file. I.E. will then open the
.wav using your default player, whatever that may be. You might want to
use your default player to save the file to a memorable location, otherwise
you'll be digging around in those cache folders later. Personally I prefer
Netscape for this sort of thing.
About These Files:
All of these files were recorded in 11025 Hz 16bit Mono to keep the
file size down and allow for fast downloading. Also, I'm making an effort
to keep the recording volume consistent, so as to eliminate any annoying
fluctuations. (I *hate* that, and I'm sure you do too) All future batches
will be recorded the same way. I've done my best to cut out unnecessary
pauses and canned laughter, too. I've also listed the file size of each
.wav.
